OK, AB is may be an overstatement but this is a genuine military airfield in France, mostly dedicated to helicopters and light aircrafts supporting or engaging with military exercices. A lot more visitors during the cold war of course but still a bit of activities here and there.
As this is mostly ... a field, I did add to it various military artifacts and even manage to land there an old DC3. For some reasons (military secret protection or ... modestly of the place), that airfield is not in the basic FSX.
Thanks to the authors of FSX planner and SbuilderX for those superbes development tools. Using only existing elements of FSX, this should not hit too much your FPS.

There is nothing there which could possibly damage your computer or your FS, so I am not taking any responsibility in any possible incident on your machines and neither is the French Army taking any if you get hit by a tank, a rocket or any thing crawling down there.
Standart kind of installation
- unzip the files and folders under your add-on sceney
- declare the scenery
That's it.
Unfortunatly, as far as I know, this scenery is not compatible with previous versions of FS.

FSX LFXH Le Valdahon
Ok, on ne peut pas vraiment parler de base aérienne ici mais c'est tout de même un vrai terrain militaire, spécialement utilisé par des hélicoptères et des avions legers de l'ALAT et qui fut très actif pendant la guerre froide et reste en régulière utilisation.
Comme il s'agit essentiellement ... d'un champ, j'ai ajouté pas mal de matériel militaire de différentes natures et même réussi à y poser un vieux DC3. Pour des raisons inconnues (secret défense ou ... modestie de l'endroit, ce terrain n'existe pas dans la version de base de FSX).
Merci aux auteurs de FSX planner, SbuilderX, pour ces superbes outils de developement. N'utilisant que des elements existants dans FSX, ce terrain ne devrait pas trop faire de mal a vos FPS.

Je ne pense pas quelle puisse endommager votre ordinateur ou votre Flight Simulator et me dégage donc de toutes responsabilités à cet égard de même, d'ailleurs, que l'Armée Française au cas ou vous entreriez en collision avec un char, une roquette ou un de ces trucs qui rampent dans les environs.
Installation:
- Decompresser les fichiers contenus dans le fichier zip dans votre repertoir "add-on scenery" ou "Decors supplémentaires".
- declarer la scene
Vouala :-)
Malheureusement, cette scène n'est pas compatible avec les versions precedentes de FS.
